Hey Everyone, I was thinking that once our leaders and medical professionals have given us the direction to reopen that for those places that are ready we look into ways of boosting the economy locally and nationally. Every mayor, premier and senator has a list of infrastructure improvements that their city needs but due to reasons have been unable to complete said projects. I was therefore thinking that we complete those lists in an effort to not only revitalize local areas but the nation as a whole as we are boosting our economies and creating jobs. For an example if Flint, Michigan and Newark, New Jersey need new city water infrastructure we create local constructions jobs and national supply jobs to complete this task. This way mayor work with governors and governors work with the government to complete these badly needed infrastructure improvements. If a few local cities, states or provinces need new roads then they work together to upgrade interstates and local avenues to be more conducive to social distancing and traffic related concerns. Additionally, the nation should compile a list of workers in each area with their skillset so the nation can search for workers with the skills needed to complete national and regional projects. If a group of skilled people are needed in one state but live in another both states can work together to start skilled worker trades to complete projects across the nation and keep temporary workers or laborers working during this time. This list of skills will also help a nation plan for future projects and chart education initiatives if they find a certain skillset that's rare within the nation. This allows for an interconnected economic and infrastructure revitalization at the same time. Additionally, you can fund solar initiatives for businesses and government buildings to be installed and therefore help reduce the operating costs of buildings nationwide. This will also create construction, manufacturing and sales jobs while helping to reduce operating costs as a whole. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
