Hey Everyone,
I was reading a story that talked about the rental situation in New York and other places that allow for a ban on evictions due to the pandemic.
I was reading that these programs funds have nearly been fully allocated and they are worried that a lack of funds will cause more homelessness amongst an already at risk population.
Increased homelessness will also cause a greater possibility of viral spread and can potentially lead to danger for the people made homeless. As such I am hoping that we can come together to look into options to extend this program for the people who still desperately need it. If we can look to extend this program or institute additional options for them it will save lives.
Together we will see one another to a better future, one where we are healthy and united.
Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive,
John Ames Birch
