Homelessness is a growing problem around the continent as people fall through the cracks in our society. Many people currently are living paycheck to paycheck as they struggle to survive the rising cost of inflation. All across this continent people struggle to afford the basic needs like shelter, food and information.

Homelessness is a direct result of inaction and lack of foresight by governments prioritizing coin over conscience. Each year social support budgets are reduced in an effort to meet fiscal targets as people suffer in our society. Modernization was meant to make things cheaper however in our society people create new costs to sap more from the disadvantaged to increase the wealth gap.

Its time to change this situation and reform the connections between us that leads to poverty and in turn homelessness. Without an organized and central response to this problem, more and more people will be left abandoned by our society.

However, on the horizon there is Hope. Organizations, Governments and civilians are starting to recognize the issues that affect homelessness and making proactive steps to combat this issue. Together we will ensure everyone has a hearth and a home.
