Hey Everyone, I have been thinking a lot about the power of the written word and how at times it can both help and hinder. Over our history we have evolved the standards of communication from subtle grunts and gestures to cuneiform, from cuneiform we created hieroglyphics and pictography. From here we built language and music, art and literature, word and tempo. We spread out across our world from the first city of Uruk to the plains of the new world and created variations of words and speech to communicate across generations. Think of the great works of art or literature that we have created over our history, from Shakespeare to Confucius, poetry and spoken word, sonnets and orchestras. We evolved the standard of the written word to include new words and new meanings. We evolved who we were through communication and collaboration. The power of words cannot be overshadowed as their importance has shaped our peoples from the dawn of recorded history. These variations of vibrations helped to shape our world and society through thought and speech. Over that history these words shaped nations, created and ended dynasties and both uplifted and downgraded our people. The written word is a powerful thing, its the manifestation of someone's thoughts, ideas and will. Through these marks on paper we come to learn not just about ourselves but the world at large and our place in it. We use these words to question the nature of reality and our role in it. We use new words birthed from these questions to create new standards for our society. Think of all those Bills of Rights, those fundamental aspects of our existence that define generations and nations. Words that create protections and standards for life itself and its treatment. These words helped to create cities and states, provinces and territories and continue to shape our world even today. Everyday words change our world, some for the better and some for the worse, all of which are part of our history and culture. Think of those great works of words that helped heal your heart or uplift your humanity. Words can captivate imaginations and inspire legions of people in action and outreach. They can evolve the standards of this generation while protecting the next, they can prevent wars and start them, they can uplift nations or destroy them. This is why we need to constantly protect the words and works that have shaped our society. Each letter is a piece to the puzzle of life itself and each time we use words to defend or uplift we create possibilities each and every time. Each letter, like a spark in the darkness of the unknown to guide our way back home. This is why its so important to ensure that the words you give out into the world match who you are as a person because they form the basis of your identity and legacy. Therefore, we must take care to ensure that each letter helps and not hinders, that each word uplifts and not downgrades, that each sentence heals and not injures. These are the lessons we must take from history and know that each time we use words we either create possibilities or prohibitions. This is why we need to make sure that our words, our voices, match who we are inside and aligns with our collective morality. Our history will remember our stories and struggles, we must ensure that the good words we use echo through time. These echoes catching the limitless possibilities of our future to ensure that the legacy of life itself, is a good one. Please take heed and use words that will uplift our people and society and speak them loud enough to overcome the hateful ones. "A word is like a seed, filled with limitless potential".
