Hey everyone, I am writing to you today to discuss the homeless crisis facing Edmonton and other cities around the world. Alberta has an action plan to combat homelessness in the near future. That being said, we need to start looking at more immediate solutions to address overcrowded shelters and underfunded programs. I am therefore hoping we can look into a homeless donation initiative for the hope Mission and others. These locations run on donations and anything you can provide will make a world of difference in their lives. Food, clothing, furniture as well as medical supplies can go a long way to helping those less fortunate. They are homeless many times due to extenuating circumstances through no fault of their own. We need to be there for one another and only look down upon someone when your helping them to their feet. Superhero's are everywhere nowadays as we all long for a hero. Movie after movie highlights the best of our people and who we long to be in superhero form. A person who will rise above the darkness and rekindle the light of civilization. Each of us holds a hero within our hearts and it's time to suit up. Please any donations you can provide will make a world of difference. Furthermore, if we can start a crowdsourcing initiative to help renovate and expand the Herb Jamison center it will help both staff and guests.
