Subject: Agricultural Labor Shortages (Opinion)

Hey Everyone, I was reading a story about how there is an agricultural worker shortage due to the travel restrictions during this pandemic. I was thinking that we hire the homeless from across the nation to help during the agricultural harvest. The skilled workers can act as team leaders to help train the new workers and ensure that all health and safety rules are being followed. This way the agricultural worker shortage is avoided and we are able to help the homeless with lodging, food and money to get a place once the harvest season has concluded. They can also work with our homeless programs to find low cost housing options and accommodations after the harvest. This way we are able to help our agricultural sector and help to end homelessness.
