Subject: Zimbabwe and Nambia Trophy hunters (Opinion)
Hey everyone, I was reading a story that talked about how Zimbabwe and Nambia have decided to allow trophy hunting of Elephants due to a lack of tourism. This is wrong. We cannot allow Elephants who are endangered to be culled in any region of the world. These are gentle giants that have families and feelings. When I look at an Elephant I see intelligence and intrigue. We are not on top of the food chain we are a part of it. We have to think of our humanity not only when we think of each other but animal kind as well. We do not have the right to harm animals in anyway but especially for profit. The way we treat those most vulnerable amongst us be them human or animal speaks to who we are as a people. We cannot allow cruelty or we become cruel, cannot allow barbarism or else we become barbarians and we cannot allow inhumanity or else we become inhumane. These are beautiful nations with wonderful souls and they are better then allowing such inhumanity to an endangered species. I therefore call to every good person who salutes these flags to stop trophy hunting and to preserve these gentle giants for future generations. Please for the sake of our humanity we must save the Elephants. Stay safe, stay sanitized and stay supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
