Hey Everyone, Each day we wake into this world with the drive to improve ourselves and the world at large. We take to heart the struggles and needs of others and we strive to help those in need of it. This year of cooperation, collaboration and communication stands as testament to the collective good we are capable of. Over our history we have stood together through adversity and atrocity and triumphed. Whenever and wherever the morality of our people were threatened we stood together to reaffirm that morality. We marched, we lobbied and we stood resolute in our convictions as we shone a light on all the dark corners of our existence. Through this journey we have come to learn a lot about who we were, who we are now and this journey also helped us define who we want to be. We have formulated our society for the betterment of all the constituent parts that make up the whole of who we are. We created new laws and defeated others in the service of that greater good. We stood for one another, protected one another, healed one another and marched for one another to further the standards and protections of life itself. We may have stumbled along the way as we sought to find a balance between collective good and individual rights. However at the end of it all, we understood the value of the person and the rights contained therein. We have evolved that standard in time as we ourselves have evolved. These laws took on new meanings and new measures in an effort to broaden the scope of our societies and peoples. We as a people are good, we try to do the right thing and help those who are in our care. We sacrifice our time, effort and even at times ourselves as we stand in defiance of adversity or atrocity. We love one another through all the trials and tribulations this world can throw at us. This love turns strangers to friends and friends to family, and connects us to God and Heaven. We are each of us a single piece to the overall tapestry that is life itself. Every one of us is important to the fabric of consciousness as we challenge old preconceptions with new ideas and experiences. We strive to understand the unknown and classify the data that we learn from it into a library of thought. This collective consciousness that binds us all from ancestry to divinity. These strings cross generations, connecting us to one another on a far deeper level that can be understood. Each time we love, help, heal, feed or protect others; we send ripples through space and time to both honor our ancestors and guide our descendants. These actions we take in defence of others reinforce our morality and the legality of our societies. This spirit of resistance, of hope, is integral to the future of our people and its morality. Each person that stands for others becomes a bastion in the dark nights of our inhumanity. These bastions create new light where only the darkness once tread. Each one, a lighthouse to guide others to the dawning of a new and better day. Each step we take to help others adds new light to this dark night, new breadth to our discovery and new possibilities for all people everywhere. It's in these moments of kindness that we not only discover who we are but our potential as a person. This potential can topple hate, cripple racism, break immoral chains and rebuild shattered lives. The potential of our ancestors lies before us in today's society, They stood, they marched and they changed their future to be better than what it was supposed to be. Each time we stood, each right that was created, helped to shape the legacy of our people and its potential. Inside each of us lies limitless potential, we are each a seed waiting to grow. We must cultivate this potential and nurture it into a powerful, unmovable, unyielding oak. In the coming days, years and centuries we must be ever watchful on the horizon to ensure that we create the future each of us deserves. We must march, we must litigate and we must stand defiant against all who would seek to turn back the clock on our hard won rights. It is both the right and responsibility of each citizen to ensure that their nation is just and fair for all people and that the morality of that nation stands paramount. I believe in you, in each and every one that stands together to fight that good fight. Each and every action towards a better future for everyone sets the precedent on who we are collectively and individually. Without morality and liberty at the forefront of any society, we will always face atrocity. I know that you are all good and despite a few dark hearts, the hearts of our peoples beat strong and shine like diamonds in the night. I ask only that those who help or heal do not lose hope in this world or life itself. This road you walk to help others is the road home and no matter what life throws at you, know that you are all doing God's work with each Act of Random Kindness. Liberty and Justice for all.
