There has been widespread famine and power outages as the economy nears the brink. Recently the government resigned leaving the people in turmoil. I am wondering if we can reach out to the Sri Lankan representatives in order to determine trade partnerships to help ensure food and power get to the people. Perhaps a trade system wherein food is imported and equitable trade is sent to cover the cost of the food shipments as their economy cannot afford imports presently. Perhaps we can look into sending MRE'S if any military has soon to expire goods as well as perhaps look into power options for their island. Currently Sri Lanka has a number of exports including spices and biscuits, textiles, Rubber and Latex, fish and seafood as well as an emerging boat building industry. If there are any nations or corporations that require such exports perhaps we can work with them on trade partnerships to help Sri Lanka weather this storm. Furthermore, if Tesla has any spare solar panels they might be able to leverage a tax break for philanthropy. They currently do a lot of good work and perhaps might be able to assist in Sri Lanka and leverage it for Social Capital. perhaps even a factory in Sri Lanka might help both Tesla and Sri Lanka as a mutual benefit. Furthermore, they have an emerging technology industry and perhaps Microsoft and Google can leverage the talent from Sri Lanka to help them setup their own industries to complement current offerings. As such if you would be so kind as to review this situation in the hopes of helping this great nation weather the storm it would be greatly appreciated. No matter the storm we are one people and we must stand together to right the ship in stormy seas. "Rights are just words without actions to defend them" John Ames Birch @johneames2
