I mean no disrespect but now is the time to bolster our task forces to field contact tracing and testing initiatives while we work on a vaccine. We also need to consider continuing the focus of pandemic preparedness even after a vaccine has been developed so that we can prepare for any future outbreaks. We should have offices in every city to manage and coordinate local infrastructure to reform our processes to meet any future needs. We need to essentially combine our intelligence networks with our medical networks to create a hybrid medical intelligence infrastructure to find, classify and prevent future outbreaks in real time. If an office finds an uptick in hospital admittance under similar symptoms they will coordinate nationally and then globally to determine the pathogen threat level and respond accordingly. This will allow us medical field agents that can investigate potential outbreaks or sources of outbreaks and stop or suggest changes to prevent infection and make our cities better prepared in case of future pandemics. If we start looking at these options now we will never face a situation where we are unprepared to respond. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
