Throughout our history we have seen new laws come into effect, some for freedom and others for fear. We challenged these laws at times to ensure their morality in application and scope, and evolved the standards of our society to include new concepts and ideas. With these new concepts and ideas, new laws were formed in an effort to keep order within our society. We created new roles for protectors that uphold the law and uphold morality and legality within our society. These front line defenders hold on their person a symbol of Law and Order. These badges form the shape of a shield to represent the principles of that institution. To shield the public from harm, to protect those lives that are in danger and to help all those in need of it. This concept has changed over the years from single applications to national changes to uphold the morality and the legality of our world. As we changed so too did the laws that govern us and our society to include new protections for new members of our collective family. These laws helped to form the basis of each generation's understanding about society and the laws and rules contained within a just world. At times we needed to challenge these rules to ensure that they followed the precepts of these hallowed institutions. We marched together to create new laws out of a drive to be better than we were yesterday and to ensure our morality was defended. Each day, in each generation, we stood together to reform our world to ensure it remained just and fair for all peoples. In today's world we have to review our institutions to ensure that they match the morality and legality of this generation. We need to ensure that Law and Order are upheld both for the collective and the individual. it is easy to fall back into old ways without a guiding light to hold you in the right path. This is why we need to uphold the rights we have fought and marched for and hold these protections as our north star. Justice isn't justice unless it both represents the will of the majority while respecting the rights and freedoms of the minority. This is the balance of institutions, to continue to uphold the morality and legality of all within their reach to ensure all have access to justice and equality. If even some fall outside of the reach of justice then we are all affected by the injustice of it. We must ensure that this generation continues to promote law and order with a focus on justice for all. To take a close look at who we were, who we are now and who we want to be moving forwards. We must ensure that those laws and institutions match our morality so that justice can be the pinnacle of our society. Without justice we can never have order or stability within our society and we must ensure that such a valued institution remains above reproach. I therefore call on everyone everywhere to stand together to ensure that our laws and regulations match who we are now and support who we want to become. Together we will ensure liberty and justice for all. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
