Hello I hope this email finds you well, I was reading that due to the pandemic harvested organs are being wasted. I was wondering if we can possibly save the organs for later. I realize that they cannot be frozen but I was wondering instead if another possibility exists. I was wondering the viability of instead placing the organs themselves on a sort of dialysis/life support wherein we pass oxygenated blood through the organs to keep them alive until we can resume operations. I’m not sure the viability of this but perhaps the medical experts can determine what’s best. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
