Subject: California and Oregon Drought (Opinion)
Hey everyone,
I was reading a story about fresh water scarcity for farmers and fisheries that rely on the klamath lake.
They are looking at solutions in an effort to help both farmers and fisheries but the water table could not handle the needs of both.
I was therefore thinking that we look into outsourcing water from other locations and using firefighting planes drop the water into the lake to allow enough for both farmers and fisheries. You would need to find another water table compatible with the fish and water that would not introduce foreign bacteria or organisms into the klamath ecosystem.
This however should help in the short term in producing enough for both sides.
Additionally, we should look into industrial scale dehumidifiers to pull water from the air and provide another freshwater source for farmers. We could also look into desalination technologies to use seawater and turn it into fresh water.
Perhaps looking at ways to attract the salt away from the water molecules like a magnet or a procedure that would crystallize the salt to separate it from the water.
Finally could we look into ways to create fresh water by combining hydrogen and oxygen to allow us to create water in drought stricken areas. This option would allow us to refill water tables globally and provide fresh water for people who need it.
Together we can review these options in efforts to help all areas affected by droughts.
Stay safe, stay sanitized and stay supportive,
John Ames Birch
