Hey everyone, I was reading that due to the pandemic there is a shortage of blood for hospitals. As such I am hopeful that we can start a movement coast to coast to donate blood to refill the reserves. Anyone that gives blood will save lives. Furthermore, I was thinking about options for blood donations and ways to increase our supply. I was thinking that we start mobile blood banks to go door to door collecting blood. Once collected this blood is sampled and tested for disease and when cleared it can be sent for use. Testing the blood each time will give us a cleaner supply and help the populace know their status in a constant basis as well as gain advanced warning for other diseases like cancer. This testing option will allow more people to donate and it will improve citizens medical outlook as diseases will be caught early. As such if we can review these options with our governments it would be greatly. Also anyone who can donate today please do, we need heros. Stay safe, stay sanitized and stay supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
