Each year, more and more trans people are murdered by another's ignorance and hate. In 2019, 331 people were murdered for being trans. In 2020, 250 people were murdered and in 2021 there were 375 murders worldwide. We cannot allow these beautiful and courageous souls to die in pain and suffering. They are our people, they were born to a different soul gender than their biology. Who we are and which gender we love is beyond biology, it is the domain of the soul. I was surprised by the numbers in Central and South America. I know that they are a very devout and religious people and I know that despite fear and fragility, we can evolve together. Every faith talks about a soul, it is the culmination of our current life, who we are, which gender we love and what legacies we leave behind in this world. This soul in my opinion, is a reflection of our eternal spirit, a piece to who we are under God. As such this expression of the soul must take precedence over biology. Therefore anyone who believes in God must in turn believe in one another regardless of distinction or biology.

There have been far too many instances of hate and these instances if left unchallenged will lead to atrocity. It is therefore the responsibility of all God loving people to stand together for one another including the Trans community. We must protect the most vulnerable amongst us so that we can live the tenets of our faith, to love, hope and have faith. This means having faith in your fellow person regardless if you understand them or not. It's about love. Faith in practice is love and to do anything other than love one another, is sacrilege. As such I am calling on the world at large to enact Trans Task Forces in an effort to protect these courageous people and to educate the world on their beauty under God. Its time we protect gender from hate and ignorance by challenging hate whenever and wherever it rises. Together we will show one another the value of a person and the rights contained therein by standing as one against the night of our fear and igniting the darkness with Hope. "Hope catches the light". Many fear what they do not know which is why now more than ever we need to highlight Trans stories and educate one another about our people. If you are straight and cisgendered (in your correct body for your soul) then you can be secure knowing that trans people are not a threat to you or your sexuality. We all transform ourselves everyday, we choose our hair, our clothes, some choose plastic surgery or hair dye, makeup or bling. These choices are all in an effort to be on the outside as we feel on the inside. Full transformation is them living who they are inside by changing their bodies to reflect their truth. Do not fear Identity, find your own. Trans people only seek to live good lives as who they are meant to be, not what biology and society dictate. I beseech you, live the tenets of faith and practice love even if you fear. When you reach beyond your fears you grasp faith in your hands and bring it closer to your soul. It's time to live our truths no matter who we are and stand as one against the unknown and the darkest parts of ourselves. Shine together no matter the distinction so that our courage can light the way for all those lost to darkness. Nosotros.
