Hey everyone, Over the last year we have faced such a collective all encompassing adversity. This pandemic has shown the best and worst humanity has to offer and through all that adversity we stood together. Through the darkness of the unknown we stood against the night and pushed back until the dawning of a new day. That day is finally on the horizon thanks to the collective humanity we have shown one another. Both nations and nationals stood as one through this threat and we united with more cooperation, compassion and conscience then in our recorded history. Political, religious and ideological rivals put aside fear and past prejudices to create a unified front. Because of this collaboration and communication we have created new ventures, new initiatives and processes to help one another weather this storm. We sent aid, manpower and ideas to one another to help us to our feet when we fell. All this cooperation, collaboration and communication led us to a vaccine. This light at the end of a long dark tunnel was made by the people, for the people and because of the people. We cannot lose this spirit of collaberation in the days to come. We have seen eachother through this storm but we must collectively prepare for all others on the horizon. I know our views may at times differ and we may not always get along but we are one people and have shown this time and time again throughout this pandemic. This shows me that despite our differences our common ground is within reach. Each action we took, every time we sent aid to another, helped with manpower or vaccines we were rebuilding our common ground each time. Over this year we have not only reformed our common ground but expanded it so that more of us could stand side by side. I ask that we continue this effort to find commonality between us as we look forwards to the horizon of the future. There may be storms on the horizon but I know together we will save one another. Please, continue cooperation, sustain support and practice patience with one another. There still may be some differences but instead of being a distraction to our humanity let it instead be a declaration. Let the humanity we have shown one another continue unbound by fear or mistrust so that it can take us together into a better future for all our people. I call on the world to unite for human rights and human dignity. Create a universal declaration of human rights, new trade and diplomatic connections and better supports for the peoples of every nation. Stand together through everything like we have done with this pandemic to show our future that we are worthy of it.
