I was reading stories about clashes between protesters and other groups over the weekend. During times like these where we stand together for a cause we must remember each other and why we stand. The way of the peaceful warrior is one of love, standing together for the common cause of us. Together we represent the Dawning of a new day, a day for all of us. This day of equality is on the horizon and we must see it come to pass. A day where we come together to right these great wrongs through peaceful change and interaction. It matters not the side you stand upon, anything less then peaceful change only serves to diminish that change. Violence is a tool of a past we are no longer beholden to. It is to the future that we must look, a future for us. Together we represent thousands of years of struggle and evolution locked within our DNA. Those stories handed down to us from those that came before paint a picture of our potential futures and a warning from our past. Peace must be lived to be won, to create a lasting change we must build it from a peaceful world. Love is the answer to the question of who we are and who we can be. Where we go from here is up to each of us to decide. We must march, we must lobby, we must petition and we must learn. We must learn to truly see one another amid the uncertainty that surrounds us and we must do so dispassionately. Walk the path of the peaceful warrior, be a lover.
