Hey Everyone, I am writing to you today to discuss the situation unfolding in South Sudan. It appears that this nation is embroiled in conflict and facing a number of concerns. Firstly, in 2020 there was widespread flooding that displaced many people. They are therefore in need of affordable housing. The nation is also facing food insecurity with many households lacking access to an adequate diet. As such they require any assistance that can be provided in the short term. In the long term perhaps we can look to new trade partners and exports in a sustainable way to help the nation rise to its feet. The geography indicates fertile fields and perhaps we can start agriculture exports once it's more food secure. Additionally they utilize hydroelectric power. Perhaps they can export excess energy to its surrounding neighbors. Finally, if we can start crowdsourcing initiatives to help them weather this storm it will save lives. Additionally, if the UN and other nations can send diplomats and peacekeepers to mediate talks it might help quell any social concerns. As such if we can review this matter in the hopes of helping South Sudan it would be greatly appreciated. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
