Hey Everyone, I am writing you today to discuss planes and the pollution that they add to the skies but also the potential for planes to help defeat climate change. I was thinking that we amend aircraft design to add Soda Lime filters in the wings and superstructure of the airplane. This way each flight taken reduces the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and makes every flight carbon neutral. The air passes through the intakes and gets filtered through the soda lime mixture where the co2 dissolves in the liquid mixture and then clean air is passed through the plane back into the atmosphere. This would be a simple design that would help reduce our carbon footprint with each flight we take. As such if we can look to implement this design in all new aircrafts then we will help to ensure we are always meeting our climate goals. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
