Hey Everyone, I was reading reports on new Human Trafficking laws and regulations that will be passed in the near future. Furthermore, I was also reading that Human Trafficking occurs more frequently in rural or isolated areas and places. It also occurs in places where police and officials do not believe it could even be occurring. Given that the Human Traffickers utilize rural and isolated areas we need to start focusing on areas where we have historically believed impossible for human trafficking. Places like small towns, airbnbs, short term rentals, property managers as well as hospitals. We need to refine our methods to start at places historically overlooked as that is now where Human Trafficking thrives. We need to focus on rural efforts to upgrade our police and educate the population on Human Trafficking and how to stop it. We need rural campaigns to shed a light on all dark corners of our society and bring liberty and justice to all places where tyranny and oppression thrives. In our history we have rebelled en masse against tyranny, oppression and slavery. We launched a coordinated effort to stop slavery and oppression and our ancestors secured their emancipation through action. This proclamation resounded throughout the annals of our history like a trumpet from the heavens. A clarion call to our present and future to show the world the value of a person. We marched, we lobbied and bled to emancipate beautiful people from atrocity. We taught one another the value of personhood and of Human Rights and Human Dignity, to change our world for the better. History stands as testament to the universal standards that define life itself and the struggles that defined those rights. These standards belong to all sentient beings and we must ensure that each generation knows both the value and the cost of liberty. We must remind all who have forgotten that slavery was abolished. This lesson must be louder than ever before to ensure that future generations do not devolve into ownership and oppression. There may come a time where liberty and justice are threatened, but we cannot fall victim to tyranny, oppression or indifference. We must rise together through adversity, standing as one to push back against that dark night and shine like a new day. A day where all chains, unlawful or immoral lie broken at our feet. A day where all people recognize and respect the value of a person. A day where we all stand equal under the light of God. We must live and breath the tenets of our society, we must stand against tyranny and oppression and we must create a world devoid of slavery. We must do this to both honour our ancestors and protect our descendants. We have to show history itself the importance of liberty and justice for all.
