Hey Everyone, I am writing about activism. Recently I have heard reports of many places seeking to outlaw public demonstrations and marches. The history of our world is littered by atrocity as we know. Death and destruction rained down on our people in nearly every generation. Years and years people suffered from slavery and tyranny until a few good souls stood to challenge the status quo. Years ago we fought one another to end slavery, to stop segregation and to end supposition. We fought, bled and died to emancipate beautiful people from oppression. We then marched and died to stop segregation and end apartheid. We went to war with the world to stop the holocaust and to preserve liberty and we march today for a better world. It is important to our democracy and that of our society to march when inhumanity rises. It is not only our right to march but our solemn duty to see a better world through our actions. Think of what the world would be like today without those strong souls that stood for us. Slavery would still be commonplace, the Jewish genocide would have been complete and each of us would be saluting a different flag. Thanks to the tireless work and sacrifices of billions of activists we were spared these further atrocities. Activism and outreach are how we right our society, as we know sometimes what's legal is not always morally right so we need to ensure that each generation stands together for a better world. Without activism we can never evolve as a people and we would not be where we are today without it. To all those activists out there I want to salute you. Each word, each action, each march, is helping to build a better world for all humankind. A world of liberty and justice, a world devoid of slavery or segregation and a world that is equal for all of us. Don't give up on helping for your making a difference. Activism is hard, it is made harder by immoral souls seeking to continue the status quo. They seek to turn back the clock on human rights and human dignity and we cannot let them. We must march, we must lobby and we must litigate to ensure that tyranny never again eclipses our liberty. Each of you are more important than you realize and each time you use your voice to challenge tyranny and oppression you are fighting for a better human race, and a better planet. Don't give up, don't let them break you or change you, stand proud with your heart shining like a beacon. Shine so bright that others find you and stand with you. A beacon calling out to the night to stand for what's right. Keep standing, keep marching and never stop fighting for what's right. Each of you are making a difference and soon your good works will save us. March on peacefully towards that beautiful future we can call home. I Love you all. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2 --
