It talked about racially and religiously biased incidents. Throughout this last year we have come together as nation and national, forgoing borders and budgets to help one another. People from all across the globe have stood in solidarity with each other no matter their distinction. We have help each other, fed each other, housed each other and healed each other, we cant forget that. Together in our humanity we stood for one another and created more worldwide cooperation then in our history. We must remember those connections, the strings that bind us together are important. It's in these acts of kindness, of humanity, that set the tone for who we are together. We cannot allow division or hate to challenge our unity, we must do better. No matter the political ideology, religion, gender, sex, identity or language we must stand as one. Together we have shown one another the value of collaboration, communication and cooperation and we must continue. We are one people no matter what we face or the fear that might temporarily fill our hearts. We have to stay resolute in that unity and prevent any hate related crimes. We are better then hate or fear and we must stand against fear when it comes calling. Please I ask everyone to search your hearts and find love for your fellow being. I ask that we stand with all people who need us and lead with hope over fear. Do not let our unity be a footnote in the history of who we are, instead make our unity the foundation for a better future for everyone.
