Hey Everyone, I am writing to you this day to discuss the human trafficking epidemic that is spreading around the world. Each day more and more people fall victim to human trafficking in both large municipalities as well as rural towns. Since the release of the human trafficking profiles by the police there has been a change in how these immoral individuals operate. Human traffickers have begun to move outwards to small towns, mennonite communities and reserves in an effort to traffick individuals. As such we need a coordinated response both in our cities as we are seeing now as well as in our most remote communities. As such I am hoping that we can create a new communication infrastructure to help rural locations report suspected human trafficking as well as educate one another on new profiles and activities of the human traffickers. I also think it prudent to have police offices or neighborhood watches opened in every remote town to combat human trafficking day to day. They can report suspected cases, educate the people and start grass root tactics to create a new force to combat this evil. Furthermore, I was personally trafficked in this city 25 years ago and I am therefore wondering how long human trafficking has been thriving in our nation. Therefore I think we need to review the MMIWG cold cases to determine if they were victims of human trafficking. Furthermore, In the news they were talking about a suicide epidemic on some reserves and I am wondering if they have been targeted by human traffickers. As such I am hopeful we can start a new indigenous organization to combat human trafficking and protect the reserves. Finally, I am hoping that we can launch a series of commercials on television to educate the population about human trafficking, how to spot it and how to report it so each citizen becomes a soldier of liberty. Slavery, also known as human trafficking is really the Antithesis to democracy and liberty and each time it happens it erodes the foundation of our society. Each and every person deserves sovereignty of self, the ability to choose who they are, which gender they love and what is done their bodies. Each and every time a person is trafficked within our nation we lose a piece of our liberty, our democracy. These individuals have become very sophisticated in their methods and have employed tactics used by our intelligence communities. As such its time for the good people in this world to rise against this dark night. It's time that we show history itself that they won't challenge our liberty without a fight. We must lobby, litegate and educate people so that each of us can be a beacon of hope for all those in chains.
