Hey Everyone, I was reading a story that talked about a patron who was unsure about how to operate within the restaurant and the rules therein. Perhaps we can sit down and confirm all rules and regulations needed for each industry and establishment and look at ways to improve restaurants for pandemics.

I am wondering if we can look into more ventilation options in restaurants, perhaps making sure each table has a fan that would pull moisture up towards the viral filter screens to ensure more protections for diners. These vent hoods would passively draw moisture and air up towards the unit and filter the air for use throughout the venue. This would ensure people can dine safely no matter their vaccination status. Perhaps we can review this with the medical experts to confirm validity. Furthermore, we need to look into options for more space in these venues and more space outdoors on patios. This way in the summer months you can have more people sit outside. Additionally, I feel that all staff should be wearing a mask and following all pandemic procedures including hand washing and proper mask etiquette. This will add a layer of protection for all staff. This will also help to ensure no staff to customer transfer and vice versa. This will also ensure protections for cold and flu seasons as well. If we can review the above options in the hopes of helping create a national procedure it would be greatly appreciated.
