Modern day slavery is alive and well across the Globe as Men, Women and Children are subjected to horror in the name of coin. Immoral individuals prioritize coin over conscience and it's destroying our way of life. The western world was founded upon the ideals of Freedom and Democracy and Slavery is an affront to all things we have fought for over our history. We are the true north strong and free, these words matter just as much as the flag and people they represent. We must remember those words, that promise in the days and years to come as we fight back against tyranny and oppression. I have been fighting this epidemic for years and have found a lack of support in some areas across our great nation. In my humble opinion we need a national strategy coordinated at the federal level to connect these separate task forces into a national strategy. I propose that we pass legislation at the federal level to require a task force in every province and territory that reports to the national task force. This will allow us to coordinate, collaborate and communicate to one another about what we are seeing in our nation on a daily basis. Furthermore, we require more funding in our municipalities, provinces and across our nation to ensure that we are upholding our values both abroad and at home. The threat to our democracy, our unity, is closer than we think and its up to each of us to stand against that dark night and proclaim forevermore, slavery was abolished. I am therefore sending a clarion call to all premiers and cabinets, to all nations and nationals and to people everywhere. The time has come to once again march forwards towards freedom and equality. We must break every chain unlawful or immoral before we wake up one day to our beautiful nation enchained. Together we must end slavery and oppression and show the world that Canada does not bow to Terror or fear, we rise. It's time to rise Canada and march towards that future where all sentient beings stand free.
