Hey Everyone,
I am writing to you today about the situation in Haiti, currently a number of refugees are being returned to their nation after attending the US southern border. I have heard that due to the pandemic and recent earthquakes that they cannot feed their citizens let alone the refugees that are returning.
As such I am hopeful that we can work with the US, UN and Haitian governments in an effort to help the refugees find a better location to return to.
Furthermore, I was looking into options for the nation as a whole and started looking into their export options. I read that a lot of clothing is manufactured and exported to other nations. I was therefore hopeful that we can help them leverage this into new earning opportunities.
Perhaps clothing companies can reach out to the Haitian government and seek partnerships to create clothing for export.
Alternatively, perhaps we can look into their agricultural sector and help them improve their nation's food security. I propose that we help them start an agricultural initiative to create an agricultural export to help them weather these storms.
As such if we can review these options and reach out to the Haitian government to help them it would be appreciated. Furthermore, if anyone can spare food to send to Haiti it will save lives.
Together, all for one and one for all.
Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive,
John Ames Birch
