Hey Everyone, I have been hearing a lot of concern over the economy and worries about a possible recession. As I've said in the past, like us, our institutions are resilient and the economy will not only survive this but we will adapt to thrive moving forward. I was therefore thinking of ways that we can create a new world framework moving forward to allow for both prosperity and protection for all people and animals. I was thinking that when the time comes and we have been given the all clear from our leaders and medical professionals that we start diversifying all sectors of business. Opening up new supply chains and options, new manufacturing sectors to combat the shortfalls we have recently discovered. Also by researching new ways and new technologies to make our world both safer and cleaner while allowing for more earning potential for everyone. Climate change is a reality, our world is always changing and evolving from small changes to large ones and we need to be ready. We have to formulate our industries and our cities to adapt to an ever changing world. Diversification of our industries is the first step, as it will allow us to pivot industry focus as the industry changes. That way each business can be profitable and every worker gets a paycheck to support themselves and their family. A green infrastructure can help us more easily adapt to the changes of our planet while allowing us to reach our environmental goals. New industries will create jobs, support our existing business markets and allow for us as a world to collaborate, communicate and cooperate to a greater degree. Solar and wind power can help us offset the cost of operation for government buildings and reduce operation costs for businesses and factories. Having our oil industry not only produce oil but biodiesel and other materials can reduce costs for them. They can also be hired to create a new nationwide clean infrastructure project. This will transport water to places without adequate sanitation and can also be hired to replace city wide water infrastructure since in theory they would be skilled in liquid transportation. Our industries can continue to support our medical field as we evolve the sector with new education enhancements and incentives to build a more robust and resilient medical system. Nations can also manufacture solar panels and wind turbines to export to other nations to help them build a backup green economy as well. Using a hybrid combination system we will not only be supporting our current industries but we will also be preparing for that inevitable and necessary future green sustainability. In addition, with unified world markets we can start communication and collaboration networks to ensure that our economies support one another. Including an international space effort to build, design and implement new spacefaring technologies and vehicles. From there we can harvest materials from our solar system to support spacefaring and home world projects for hundreds of years or more. A unified space program would immediately boost our economies as it would create new industries, new jobs and allow us to coordinate efforts to mitigate any economic downturn across the globe. We can setup new plants and design firms within months to initiate support for our existing Space programs as they work together to create a worldwide space framework. People worry about the economy after the pandemic but we are the economy and together we can ensure that like us, our economies will endure. Together we will make our economies stronger, our people and our world better. Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive, John Ames Birch @johneames2
