Subject: Digital Testing Options (Opinion)
Hey everyone,
I was reading about how testing is becoming a concern for places around the world and how some people are being turned away due to lack of testing equipment.
I also read a story about and Israeli General who is launching a digital app that allows you to check the heart rate, oxygen saturation of the blood and respiration all using a camera. What I was thinking is if we can reach out to our friends in Israel they might be able to help us implement our own digital testing to reduce the amount of physical tests needed.
This way we can use similar methods to triage the patient from their home, if they have statistics outside the norm then we can have them setup an appointment for a test to not only start treatment but also help calibrate the technology.
Digital testing might be the option we need to test larger groups of people while in isolation and to reach more remote areas where local testing may not be feasible.
Stay Safe, Stay Sanitized and Stay Supportive,
