Subject: Air Quality For The Future (Opinion)

Hey Everyone, I was reading a story about some cities finding cleaner air due to isolation endeavors. Some countries are now able to see mountains in the distance and getting better air quality than they have had in decades. I think perhaps that part of reinvigorating our economy (when the WHO and our leaders agree) should be implementing new Green initiatives across all sectors. Reducing emissions perhaps by adding filters directly on the mufflers of older cars and trucks and designing built in methods for new models. Implementing solar and wind energy where we can to offset energy operating costs and bolster income from energy sources. Even Adding filtration systems in factories and plants to ensure that we keep our air as crystal clear as it is now. Given most of these improvements couldn't have been done during operation, now is the time to implement them. This way not only will we be creating new jobs and industries but helping to exceed our climate requirements. Additionally, this will help improve overall health and reduce our nations medical operating costs and improve care for those who need it. We can also implement water filtration systems on any factories near water and start a nation wide infrastructure upgrade to ensure clean water and air for all nations. Green economies allow for more prosperity as they increase the longevity and potential of those industries. This will help businesses avoid environmental levies or restrictions by preparing and negating them. It will also help reduce the overall operating costs of every sector to dramatically increase revenue potential. Furthermore, we can start nationwide recycling programs to reduce landfill waste and assist farmers through national compost industries and recycling centres. Consulting with our leadership, the United Nations and Greenpeace we can create entire new industries while evolving and raising the potential of current ones.
